(GMO Trust), a U.S.-based subsidiary of the GMO Internet Group, has joined as a Vision Partner for “Japan Smart Chain (JSC),” a Japan-sovereign Layer 1 blockchain. Under this partnership, the two companies will jointly explore a model for the issuance and circulation of stablecoins for the Japanese market on JSC, in full compliance with Japanese laws and regulations.
